Pleased to announce that this exhibition at the MFA on view through October 15, 2023 featured woodblock prints by artists I championed in solo shows in 1986 and 2000, and group shows in between. Many were acquired by Leslie and Jo Garfield, tremendous print collectors who had established long associations within the print world  including MFA curators, and provided important loans for the Blanche Lazzell exhibition curated by Barbara Stern Shapiro. This acquisition expanded the MFA's collection of a pioneering American modern movement from Massachusetts right here in Massachusetts.

Thrilled May Stevens art from one of her many essential series was featured and exhibited near waterways and inspiration so fundamental to her art and ideas. I curated and co-curated solo exhibitions with May Stevens in 1996, 1997, 1999,  and 2001.
